Atsumu - Atsumu is about average height for a Japanese setter. He'd be one of the ones who had to start off in university though, due to never really making an impact on the national stage in high school. He's a talented all-rounder, so I'm pretty sure he'd be able to make it professionally. Oikawa - Setter isn't a super tall position, so Oikawa's height is pretty solid here, he's also strong and has a killer serve. Those who have both, who could probably make it as they are now. Those who have the skill, but either need a notable growth spurt or some physical conditioning. Those who have the physique, but need to work on their skill.Personally, I'd probably break the players down into 3 categories: When we found out Kageyama went pro, it was made clear that playing at university before going pro is the normal path, so it's safe to assume that that's what most of the players would aim for, if they decided to go pro.Ĭoincidentally, assuming a regular 4-year degree, 2017 is the year that the third-years we knew would be graduating from university, so where we are right now in the story is likely where any third years we knew would be starting their professional careers. Okay so now that we've had a sizable timeskip, and all the players we knew are now adults, I thought this would be a good time to discuss who we think is most likely to go pro.
